Tetsu Inoue and Carlos Vivanco - Zenith $19.00

This is one of the best examples of timeless music on FAX. Environmental ambience with slow intense beats and liquid melodies including a lot of “Berliner Schule” sequencing is the best way to describe this rich music.
The only exception to this is the track “Aura” that sends you into slow meandering dreamscapes with its Tetsu-typical pure, positive, floating sound of ambience.

This is a special collection of very early FAX Ambient Tracks. Listeners and collectors have been waiting for this rare album a long time to be reissued. It comprises timeless music as an ideal Pete Namlook Mix in one go. With “Ambient-The Definitive Collection 2″ you are having the possibility to witness how this deep ambient space sound all started. Higher Intelligence Agency & Pete Namlook - SHADO 2 $19.00

This second fusion of two creative minds, Bobby Bird and Pete Namlook, has emerged S.H.A.D.O.2, a futuristic album of remarkable beats and melodic soundcompositions. Elektro, Ambient – EnvironMental, late Romantic and Trance are the components this varied music is based on. Listen to extraterrestrial sounds made on earth. The Society for UFO Sightings (S.U.S) in Sidney-Australia even allowed Bobby and Peter to use their U.D.S (UFO Detection System) for this release as you can hear on track #4.

Pete Namlook & Tetsu Inoue - Time 2 $19.00

This time Tetsu and Peter wanted to work on something completely different that is still recognizable as their own style. They tried to push the limits of electronic music a bit further. Fully incorporated subharmonic chords and sequences are part of this CD. F rom “Electroacoustic Trip-Hop” and “Futuristic Enviornmental” to “Psychedelic Jungle” beats, again a lot of live recorded material at Klanglabor has been used. A live session of 2 hours and 40 minutes was compressed to 65:43. This is the strongest product that they collaborated on so far… a journey to the unexpected… the future of sound. You seem to watch a Time Tourist travelling… sometimes a second seems to take ages, sometimes an hour lasts a second and sometimes you get lost in a time loop of indefinite beauty.

Pete Namlook + Richie Hawtin - From Within 3 $20.00

This CD has a special atmosphere created by the masterminds of two movements and labels of modern electronic music: Richie for minimal, club-oriented techno and Pete for his technique of fusing many different styles into deep mind bending electronica. If one thinks that Richie is too much in the background, then he is way off track. Both men have perfect fine tuned sensory minds which are completely devoted to the combined result. Both love this piece of music .. Richie even used it for his DVD-menu on his brilliant release DE9:Transitions. The compositions have been created in the way the early “AIR” recordings of Peter were done. Different parts, all in one take, instead of being compiled later. With this technique all the parts blend seamlessly into each other and create an organic progression of one gentle entity. As this music is another step in Electronic Fusion Music, the different styles of Ambient-, Jazz-, Environmental- and Intelligent Electronic music have been combined to what we call “Silent Intelligence”. After having created twenty Move D · Namlook collaborations between 1996 and 2009 it was time for Dave and Pete to celebrate. Highlighting the evolution of their music, this compilation CD is a demonstration of their unequalled organic composition style. Environmental, House, Ambient, Ethno, Lounge and Chill-Out are only a few styles they used and partly influenced with their music. Both are label owners and started in the same year (1992) with their labels and ambient/Chill-out releases. Neither of them is the leader of this musical relationship; it is completely interwoven creativity that gives birth to every of their CDs. Pete Namlook collaborated with the incredible Turkish musician Burhan Öçal whose roots lie in the classical music of his country. Besides all traditional percussion instruments he also plays stringed instruments like Ud, Tanbur and Saz. Sometimes he sings with his expressive voice on top or recites medieval Turkish poetry. With his “Istanbul Oriental Ensemble” he won the “Deutschen Schallplattenpreis”.In collaboration with Pete Namlook a new and very special combination of beatoriented deep ambient, electronic beats and the powerful music of the Ottoman empire developed and formed a new style and spirit back in 1996. Pete Namlook + Burhan Ocal - Sultan Osman $20.00

This CD was the most labor intensive project Pete Namlook has ever undertaken and he is proud to present finally the second collaboration with Burhan Öçal. It opens up a series of recordings which will be dedicated to the different Sultans of the Ottoman empire which started in the 13th century. The start was Osman Gazi the founder of the Ottoman Empire. The music of this album is a rich ethnographic journey back in time to the Ottoman empire. Incorporating direct links to the great poets of this time i.e. Celaleddin Rumi. But as on the first Sultan recording both artists combined the very past with the very future of music to a new generation of Ethno-Electronic Music. So Waldorf WAVE, Clavia Nord Lead and the newest Steinberg Cubase Software are part of the setup as well as ancient Turkish instruments as the Tanbur and a whole collection of mediaval percussion instruments. Tetsu Inoue - Slow And Low $20.00

His third solo album plus lots of collaborations make Tetsu Inoue one of the best known artists on FAX in terms of quality. Typical Tetsu Inoue style can also be found on this album but less monochrome and minimalistic. Tetsu Inoue - Ambiant Otaku $20.00

This Ambient Masterpiece and first solo work of Tetsu Inoue in the field of Ambient had been released in a limited edition of 500 back in 1994. The CDs sold very fast and a lot of Ambient listeners were on the quest for this debut Solo-album of Tetsu Inoue. Meanwhile there are collectors who pay $ 200 and more for the original FAX release. This music presents the outstanding talent of Tetsu Inoue who always had his own style. In Minimalistic Ambient music this CD is beyond compare. Since the time Tetsu recorded this CD he collaborated with a lot of very famous artists and in many ways this CD and the collaborations with Pete Namlook had been the start of his great reputation in the field of electronic music.
