Trama afonA is a project by Rome, Italy-based, Lorenzo Scacchia, who attempts to tramaphonise (convey) what he sees in the dark and hears into silence… This album constitutes the first official release, gathering tracks composed between 2005 and 2008. Tracks were inspired by wonderful creatures, composed for soundtracks or drew inspiration from a story by H. P. Lovecraft. A brief semantic note about Trama afonA: the Italian noun trama has 3 significations, corresponding to the English plot (as a story line as well as a conspiracy) and weft (of a woven material); the adjective afona means aphonic. file under: dark ambient, cinematic scores, opera
